Tourists coming in from Vancouver can take the Trans - Canada Highway 1 and then Highway 5 to reach via Hope. Time taken to travel in the winter months are higher than those in the summer because of heavy snowing and hence, inexperienced travelers are advised to avoid the road route sighting risks from winter storms that tend to come without warning.
4) Coming in by Train: VIA Rail is the one providing rail transportation services to and from Edmonton. It is linked to almost all major cities and the station is located near the downtown area. Coming back to the point, the prices of rail transportation is comparatively higher than those in other parts of the world. Higher prices are more than compensated by the kind of amenities provided in the coaches. Trains go through some of the most beautiful landscapes because of which, many prefer to take this route.
